| Abstract | The article compares two recent surveys of scientists in the U.S. and the American Public about their opinions and outlook on nanotechnology research and development. While the scientists were more optimistic than the public about the potential benefits of nanotechnology, the scientists were significantly more concerned about possible long-term health impacts of nanotechnology. |
