Debat public nanotechnologies: Je m'informe, je m'exprime

France has launched a series of public debates on nanotechnology in an attempt to involve as many citizens as possible in deciding the future of its development, use, and governance in society. Seventeen public meetings will take place around the country between October 2009 and February 2010. Each of the meetings will be organized around a different theme that is related to the region in which it takes place. However, participants in the debate will have the freedom to direct the conversation in whatever direction they wish. The program is supported by a web site (link below) that gives information about where the meetings are being held, and information about nanotechnology, its use, and potential societal impacts.
