| Abstract | In this article, daily nanotechnology reports written by the Brazilian Society for the Progress of Science from 2002-2007 were analyzed to see how a group of Brazillian scientists sought to legitimize this field of research. The analysis shows that nano researchers in this country are concentrating attention on the benefits of nanotechnology, and paying little attention to its potential societal and ethical implications. |
