Abstract

This web page describes a series of six public debates organized in Grenoble, France by Vivagora, an association devoted to promoting participatory democracy by organizing public debates around issues in science and technology. The purpose of these debates was to help identify stakeholders in the nanotechnology debate and to formulate recommendations for policy makers. The web site includes a summary of the participants in the debate, as well as a final report of the program. Similar debates have been held in Paris in 2006 and 2007 by this same group, which can be found off of the VivAgora web site.
