Abstract

The United States Environmental Protection Agency settled with ATEN Technology Inc, acting for its subsidiary company IOGEAR, for selling unregistered pesticides and making unproven claims about their effectiveness, which violates the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act. The products in question were wireless computer keyboards and mice with nano coating technology meant to protect against germs.
