| Abstract | This report discusses the question if the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is equipped to meet the emerging regulatory challenge of dietary supplements that use engineered nanomaterials. The authors discuss why the agency is not currently equipped with the necessary powers to do so, and gives suggestions on what is needed in the way of funding, research, and regulatory powers needed. |
