Abstract

This document outlines the voluntary reporting scheme developed by the British government to gather evidence in order to develop appropriate controls in respect to any risks posed to human health or the environment from free engineered nanoscale materials. Industry and research organizations are voluntarily asked to submit data from any company using, importing, researching or managing wastes consisting of engineered nanoscale materials. It does not replace existing legislation. The scheme will run from September 2006 to September 2008
