TSCA Inventory Status of Nanoscale Substances - General Approach

Guidance paper by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency outlining its approach to determine when a nanoscale substance is a "new chemical" for the purposes of the Toxic Substances Control Act. Under this papers suggestions the EPA will classify a nanoscale substances as "new" if it has a different molecular identity then substances already on the Inventory, rather then by size of the particle.
