Abstract

Paper describing the Technology Assessment (TA) program of NanoNed, a consortium of Dutch research institutes working in nanoscience. The TA program assesses nanotechnology using constructive technology assessment, an approach that attempts to contribute to the actual construction of new technologies and how they become to be embedded in society rather then only attempting to map its possible impacts. The report discusses the intellectual framework of the program and summarizes some of the possible projects to be done by TA members.
