Abstract

Nanotechnology is an example of the 'politicization' of science; the change of science being the search to the truth to science being a source of economic and political power. Author examines how politicization has transformed scientific research and development, and, explores how this new ethos offers an opportunity to more fully integrate ethical and philosophical reflections into scientific and technological development.
