In response to the report, a number of representatives of the nanotechnology industry have refuted these claims, saying that arguments made in the report are illogical at bes, adding that the environmentla community to be leading the way in lobbying governments to invest more heavily in research and development in nanotechnology in order to speed up the commercialization of nano-enabled technologies to help with water treatment, renewable energy and healthcare solutions. The co-author of the report, Ian Illuminato, says that despite the claims of the nanotechnology industry, nanotechnology will not significantly contribute to energy savings and greenhouse gas production. </style>
</record></records></xml>
