The researchers found that a majority of people are still not familiar with nanotechnology, and that the information out there tends to reach more men and individuals with higher educational backgrounds. The majority of people surveyed were ambivalent about nanotechnology, and that familiarity with nanotechnology is positivity related with people's attitudes. The authors also found that individuals who hold more negative views on technological and scientific progress as well as more holistic views about the relation of people and the environment increase the likelihood of a person having a negative attitude toward nanotechnology.</style>
<issue><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">2</style></issue></record></records></xml>
