The dialogue also aimed to facilitate good governance so that this technology can be used to meet the needs of society as a whole without creating new economic or knowledge distances either in or between countries of the world. The report also covers the role of codes of conduct, standardization of nanotechnology guidelines, societal engagement, and how to bridge the gap between nations in regard to nanotechnology development.</style>
<work-type><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Report from the conference</style></work-type></record></records></xml>
