The response points out the lack of information about the negative effects of novel nanomaterials, and states that this knowledge gap makes it impossible to judge whether the outlined strategy provides for the sound management of industrial nanomaterials. The report cites this reason for why the group continues to call for a moratorium on the commercial use of nanomaterials until safety sciences, metrology, and measurement work can catch up. The group also calls for the organization of a day-long conference between interested stakeholders and members of the public to discuss and further develop the technical details of this regulatory strategy. </style>
<custom1><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">http://nano.foe.org.au/</style></custom1></record></records></xml>
